We went to the Checkered Flag dealership on a Sunday afternoon. They allowed us to look around and asked if we had any questions. We pointed out the used vehicle we were interested in and went for a test drive. The vehicle was in excellent condition so we proceeded with the purchase. The purchase was straightforward and simple, with no hard selling or pressure. The salesman Jeff Griffin was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We were also given a carfax report detailing the maintenance history of the vehicle. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car.

We purchased a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta S. last weekend. Our experience from beginning to end was stellar. It all started when Lamont approached us asking if he could help us. My husband and I explained that we were interested in the Jetta S model on sale for $13,990. He quickly and voluntarily explained that this was the purchase price and that it did not include taxes, tags, processing, etc. My husband and I agreed that showed a great deal of honesty in the sales person. He was completely upfront about the cost. He did a great job at pointing out the car's features. He explanined what it was equipment with and what it was not equipped with. We test drove one of the service loaners that were at the front of the dealership. Lamont allowed us to test drive the car on our own, which made my husband and I feel like we could formulate our opinions without having to worry about pressure from a salesman.

When we returned from our test drive, Lamont met us and gave us the opportunity to ask questions. When he sensed that we are serious about the car, he told us that there were 3 Jetta's in the back that have not been driven much and had their full warranty period in tack. He said the loaner cars had more mileage and had about 3 or 4 months of warranty used. This impressed my husband and I a great deal that he did not try to push a service loaner car to us. Again, it spoke to his honesty.

When we went to Lamont's office, he was quick at getting our purchase processed, the credit checks done, and getting us to the finance associate. While all that was going on, he had the car getting cleaned and ready for us to drive off the lot. The whole purchase from beginning to end happened quickly. It was a very customer focused process.

Not only was Lamont a truly wonderful sales person, but he was very personable and easy to work with. Lamont did not hassle us at all. He made sure he gave us the space we needed to make our decision. He is a very polished salesman. Not only are we bragging about our new car, but we are also bragging about Lamont to our friends.
