We had gone to another VW dealer in the area and had several problems. 1. Our salesperson was trying to work two customers at the same time while other salespeople were sitting around waiting for customers. This meant we spent a lot of time waiting for him to return to assist us. 2. The sticker at the other dealer had a 'Value-Added Fee' tacked on to the final price that then gave them about $2500 extra on the sticker. 3. The other dealer attempted to low-ball the trade-in value of our vehicle ($5000 less than trade-in value from Kelly Blue Book). So, we drove out to Checkered Flag VW. Upon arrival we eagerly met by a salesperson that worked exclusively with us. He introduced the Sales Manager early in the visit. The sticker prices from the manufacturer were the same, but there were NO 'Value-Added Fees' attached. The salesperson spent several hours with us to help us find the exact car (from their large inventory) for us. Then we sat down with him and the Sales Manager to discuss the pricing, trade-in, and options. We came to a reasonable agreement that was close to the Kelly Blue Book value, while still coming down from the MSRP. Result: We drove home with a new car and a very happy customer experience. Thank you Argo, Matt, and Checkered Flag VW.
